Family Christmas Party

This past Friday night was the annual Flegal Family Christmas Party. Yummy food, family, good times & of course Santa! It was good to see everyone there, at least those who could make it. My sister had her husbands work party that night (again) so we took her kids...all 5 of them. Plus our 2 we had 7 kids. Luckily the grandparents were there to help. In fact they were originally going to take them but it didn't make sense for them to do a lot of back tracking in 1 night when we could just pick them all up on our way. So, here are a few pictures of the evening.

CJ was excited to see Santa. Yes, I know when he saw the Santa at Cabela's he wasn't too thrilled, however THIS Santa he LOVES! He has never ever been scared of this Santa. Every year that my Grandma has this party this is the Santa that comes. He is actually a friend of her's and in her ward at church. So, CJ has seen this Santa for the last few years and has NEVER been afraid of him, however any other Santa he has seen over the years he has been scared of. Go Figure!
And of course with Izzy it doesn't matter who the Santa is, she is scared of him and screams until she is rescued by her daddy. Mom on the other hand is on the other side of the camera (of course) making sure dad leaves her there long enough to get a couple of pictures. Mom only got 1 shot before dad picked her up, but wanted another...so back to Santa's lap she went and the screaming continued. Relieved that she is being rescued...at least so she thinks. But of course Mom says, put her back on, I need another picture. Dad reluctantly puts her back so Mom can get another picture. The torture we put our kids through just so we can get a couple of pictures with them on Santa's lap!
