Easter 2010

The pictures are all out of order & the original information I typed is at the bottom of the post & it won't let me copy & paste it and move it to the top...Yes it bugs, yes I may eventually delete this post & completely re-post it cause it drives me crazy, but for now I will deal with it. :)

Basically everything is backwards...so the pictures start at the end of Easter day.

So this picture is the result of the one right after, the girls, Izzy & Elizabeth were play fighting and they both "shot" each other, this is them on the ground "dead". They did this quite often. They crack me up. And here they are in the stand-off...

This is what our Teepee looked like when we got there, we had set it up the previous weekend.

And this is what our "kitchens" looked like when we got there..the storm knocked ours down and made it knock part of Jessica's down.

For Easter this year we went to the Mountain Man Rendezvous in Ogden at Fort Buenaventura...surprise surprise...yes, I know we go every year for Easter. This had to of been the most miserable year weather wise!! We always go up the week before to set up the teepee's & the wall tents. Well, there was a storm and it had snowed. When we got up there out wall tent had fallen over and was covered in snow making part of the inside ground wet & muddy. No fun! We go up on a Thursday and on Friday we all start dressing up...not this time. It was so cold & muddy & snow everywhere that no one wanted to dress up, at least not until Saturday. We still had a good time though. We ended up leaving Sunday afternoon instead of Monday cause we heard there was supposed to be a huge storm coming. We didn't want to take the teepee's down wet or pack up in the middle of a storm, so while they were dry & the weather was nice on Sunday that is when we packed up & left. We ended up making it over to Clark's parents house for dinner and another Easter Egg hunt for the kiddos.
